Bio:
I've been a full-time health reporter for New England Public Radio since 1998, with a focus on mental health. I also freelance for national radio and print outlets, including the New York Times, Boston Globe, and NOVA Next. Most recently, I've been developing a limited-series podcast on depression and creativity for Radiotopia. In addition to the MIT-Knight Fellowship, I've been a Rosalyn Carter Fellow in Mental Health Journalism and a Kaiser Health reporting fellow, among others. I am also an editor for hire.
