Des Moines Register: On a coal plant permit and what to do with its CO2 – and Jim Hansen

In Iowa, climate change and coal has become a local issue. State regulators want to prevent construction of a power plant unless it sequesters the CO2 from its coal-fired furnace. James Hansen, director of the Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York, is testifying to support the requirement.
