This year’s KSJ/Undark event at the Cambridge Science Festival will focus on how we tell stories about climate change, and how to tell them better. “Tipping the Scales on Climate Change,” a panel discussion moderated by Andrew Revkin, of New York Times and ProPublica fame, will showcase “The Measure of a Fog,” a beautiful and compelling series of short documentaries for Undark from the award-winning filmmaker Ian Cheney (KSJ 2014-15). Other panelists will be Bina Venkataraman, former White House climate change policy adviser; Anthony Leiserowitz, director of the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication; and Nicole Hernandez Hammer, a climate science and community advocate for the Union of Concerned Scientists. The event is free and open to the public.
When: Thursday, April 20, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Where: The Broad Institute, 415 Main Street, Cambridge.
