This week’s On Science Blogs by Tabitha M. Powledge collects some of the posts written about last weekend’s Women in Science Writing: Solutions Summit, which was intended “to bring together stakeholders in the community for training, discussion, and finding consensus on solutions to gender inequality and sexual harassment, according to its website.
You can track the conference through Maryn McKenna‘s Storifys at the conference website, which will give you the gist of the conversations and discussions, and we can surely expect more posts and reports in the coming days and weeks.
Powledge also sends a nice Valentine to the once anonymous Scicurious, who revealed herself to the world some time ago as Bethany Brookshire. I’ve never been fond of the practice of anonymous blogging, and I’m glad now to be able to cite her work without having to get over that obstacle. Brookshire is now a staff writer at Science News. And a smart one.
