I work closely with developers and designers to build new ways of doing Journalism at the largest Danish newsroom. As part of the Editorial Development Team I experiment with new forms of storytelling and plan our digital coverage of the largest events.
My time at MIT was spent looking into how journalists and developers could work better together. Along the way I also got fascinated with the myriad of ways that AI is already changing news. One product of that obsession was the "In Event of Moon Disaster" project, that was selected for Tribeca Film Festival. Several Knight Science Journalism Fellows participated. By using new and novel deepfake techniques we had Richard Nixon do a eulogy for the Apollo 11 astronauts as if their mission to the moon had failed.
