Bio: Kelly Servick is a writer and editor focused on biology and health. At Science Magazine, she oversees coverage of public health and infectious disease. She studied cognitive science and comparative literature at the University of Georgia and is an alum of the science writing graduate program at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Her Knight Fellowship project focused on audio storytelling and the history of American mental health policy. When not at work, she attempts gardening and songwriting.
