Ingfei Chen enjoys diving into new discoveries, trends, and controversies in biomedicine and science. Her recent print and web stories have dissected subjects ranging from MRI exams in multiple sclerosis to the sex lives of marine mammals, and have appeared in the New York Times, Science, Smithsonian, Scientific American, Cancer Today, and MS Discovery Forum, among other outlets. Once upon a time, Chen worked as a reporter at the San Francisco Chronicle, and as a staff writer at Hippocrates and Health magazines. She currently freelances from the San Francisco and Monterey bay areas.
