Take it back, I say, Put it on display back in its original Port of Misawa. "For Tsunami-proof, Earthquake-scoffing structures, call US!" on a big sign might drum up an advantage in the post-earthquake reconstruction business.

Word is that the owners of the dock don't want it back. OK, I have another idea. Take it to a port somewhere nearby in Oregon, a nice tony marina or fishing boat wharf perhaps and Depoe Bay...
